A nice first day cover for Australian Antarctic Territory Scott #L39, the 5¢ M.V. Thala Dan stamp, #L43, the 20¢ R.R.S. Discovery II stamp, #L45, the 25¢ S.S. Endurance stamp, #L46, the 30¢ S.S. Fram stamp and #L51, the 55¢ L.Y. Discovery stamp. All are from 1979. All are tied to the the cover by Mawson, Australian Antarctic Territory First Day of Issue postmarks dated January 13, 1980.
Although the official first day of issue was August 8, 1979, they were not received at Mawson until
January 13, 1980
